Since our establishment in 2015, Emergency Safety Solutions Ltd (ESS) has worked tirelessly at expanding our company’s capabilities and creating a solid service portfolio.
With our three core divisions; Emergency Safety Solutions, Emergency Service Solutions, and Engineered Safety Solutions, we have been able to offer technically advanced fire equipment, unmatched firefighting and suppression systems and rapid environmentally conscious emergency response.
And yet… as the pace of technological advancement runs rampant across all industries, we have felt as though our ecosystem of carefully selected partners and product/service offerings has been incomplete.
So, upon review, we decided it is time for a change.
Time for a change…
For any person, whether they be well-versed in the forces that drive industry change or not, the effect of technology and digitalisation on our daily lives and firms is fairly evident.
One particular advancement is the introduction of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
Essentially, IIoT involves taking “networked sensors and intelligent devices” (Wired Insider) and implementing the use of these technologies on the manufacturing floor. With the end goal being the collection of Big Data that drives the development of artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, IIoT serves to promote efficiency and stimulate productivity.
IIot has and continues to drive unparalleled disruption across a multitude of industries. One company that adopted the use of IIoT was able to capitalise on the predictive capabilities alone and managed to save $25 million in added capital expenditures (Wired Insider).
With its endless applications, ESS understands the potential benefits that IIoT can bring to our collection of clients across several of our current industries of operation. What’s more, as the Oil & Gas industry looks to move past the downturn of 2014, the need to maximise efficiency and safety, improve performance and minimise costs is a greater necessity than ever before (Baker, 2019).
With many of our clients belonging to the Oil & Gas industry, it is because of this that we have expanded the ESS ecosystem and formed our new division, ESSTech.
Expanding our ecosystem.
A new edition to the E.S.S family, ESSTech has partnered with RealWear®, a knowledge transfer company that specialises in providing in-situ information and in-the-field training with the use of software and hardware to improve safety and productivity in the workplace.
RealWear® products provide modern technology solutions, including the use of AI, augmented reality and IIoT, to solve common issues in a variety of industries, including but not limited to Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and Telemedicine.
As a global leader in AR hardware technology, RealWear® is responsible for the creation of the first hands-free ruggedized head-mounted wearable device for Connected Worker programs- the HMT-1. The product’s applications are unmatched from the back office to the front line and is trusted and deployed by companies such as Shell, BMW and Linde.
Here at ESS, we are proud to welcome RealWear® to our ecosystem and look forward to helping take our clients to the next level of productivity and cost reduction!
